ISSUE

NetWare for SAA Services Manager 2.0 is integrated with the mapping and alarm
monitoring facilities of the NetWare Management System (NMS), allowing
managers to:

- Monitor, maintain and control multiple NetWare for SAA based IBM host
connections from the same central NMS console used to manage other NetWare
services.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve NetWare for SAA events detected anywhere on
the internetwork.
- Use a single console to manage all the NetWare servers and network services
in an enterprise network.  NetWare for SAA alerts now display in the NMS
Alarm Monitor and Alarm Report windows.

NetWare for SAA servers will now show as icons on the NMS console map.  With
a click on an icon, network managers can:

- Launch NetWare for SAA Services Manager and display the status of their
NetWare-to-IBM host connections.

SAA Management Plus NetWare for SAA Services Manager provides the ability to:

- Restart NetWare for SAA
- Reload a NetWare Loadable Module (NLM)
- Initiate a trace
- Reset a host session service

NetWare for SAA Services Manager also delivers security and audit trail
capability.  The network manager can view all usages of a host connection,
including the NetWare user name, the physical network location, the host
application and the duration of the connection.

NetWare for SAA Services Manager 2.0 has NMS Runtime 1.15b bundled with it.
